So, I know this shouldn't be a big issue in the UPC, but it turns out that it is. Some ladies believe that "trimming" is not the same as cutting....that it is simply "getting rid of dead ends". Some believe in not touching their hair with scissors any way. Guys have a problem also... not knowing what length their hair can be...what's y'all's thoughts on both lady and men's hair? Please, no arguing...just orderly discussion. ;D

First off Cutting IS cutting Second trimming the ends of your hair IS cutting your hair Third Burning the ends of your hair IS cutting your hair
Guys your hair should NOT look like a girls
your hair should be WELL above your ears and should NOT touch your neck
when you look at a guy you should NOT wonder is that a girl wearing pants? OR is that a guy that need's a hair cut really BAD
JUST my thoughts on the touchy issue

long hair on the girls....,makes them easier to catch ;D LOL,JK, but seriously,i dont mind the short hair on a apostolic girl..providing she is just starting in church. take a real good friend of mine. she has been in church for...a lil over a year now,and her hair is on her shoulders, but,it is growing. I dont agree with cuttin your hair. for the guys..i keep mine short..but its because it makes my Bald spot less noticeable.

Ok, for me I understand the frustrations of having long hair. There are days when I say I'm going to cut it all off and buy a wig. There are days when I consider all of the male race scum of the earth because they continually say women can't cut their hair. I say this not because I'm rebellious, but because the upkeep is a struggle. My hair is continually in knots and tangles, and I can't seem to do anything to stop the loss of it daily. It's in my hairbrush, in the shower drain, in my fingers if I reach up and touch it, on the floor.....it's everywhere and that's a pain. However, I also know the Biblical principles of it. The Bible says that a womans hair is her GLORY. I love my long hair no matter what a struggle it is. And just recently I have found a website to help with the struggle. So, for all you ladies out there (and you nosy men as well), here is a website to offer a bit of help. www.tlhs.org/ It's awesome! There are also pictures of women on there with long hair. One lady has hair over 13 feet. It's amazing!

I would give scripture but I can't quote the verse word for word and even though I know where it is found i don't feel like getting up and going to get a bible. LoL. My opinion is cutting your hair (if you are a lady) should be a shame. God gave us long hair so that we can be a light for Him. My hair is my annointing my glory, why would i want to cut myself away from the glory and annointing of God. That's my opinion on the matter.

I include trimming less than an inch. More than that to me is cutting. I like long hair on girls. You can always curl it or do things with it girls with short hair can't do. Boys I would say that to long is when it starts to touch your neck. I would say the reason most of us put it like that is so we can tell a girl and a boy apart. (other than skirts and pants)

The term is not "long hair" but, uncut hair. Therefore, no matter how small a cut you make, it's still cutting it. On the flipside, when a woman repents of cutting her hair, at that moment she is forgiven, and is just as well as if her hair was to the floor.

The Bible does say "uncut hair". And that is what i live by when it comes to my hair. My hair nevers sees a pair of scissors or any other object that can be used in cutting the hair. I do not even trim my hair. Yes, i know that it can be hard to deal with spilt ends and all, but there is a gel type stuff you can get at Walmart, Fructis Length and Strength, that helps repair spilt ends without cutting them off. and believe me, it works!! I started using this stuff bout 2 weeks ago after everytime i got out of the shower, and i can already see result. The ends of my hair are healthier, and my hair is still the same length. So for all you girls out there who needs help of hair styles or hair products or what you should do, you can ask me and i will try my hardest to give you the best answer i can come up with. I know my hair products!!lol

Here's somthing to think about people: God also made nature to tell us wether to cut hair or not. Men, as they get older, usually lose thair hair(not on every guy but a lot of them). Do you ever see a woman go bald(unless they have cancer or something)?
